Nottingham Forest youngster Alex Iacovitti says it 'suits' him that interest from Premier League Aston Villa in the summer came to nothing.
And the defender believes Reds boss Dougie Freedman has played a key role in helping him to progress.
Iacovitti has yet to make an appearance for the Forest first-team, but Freedman has twice included him in his matchday squad – at Bristol City and at home to Ipswich Town last month.
