Nottingham will become a regional centre for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs after the government announced it would be closing 137 offices across the UK.
The plan is to open the city hub in 2021 to replace five offices across the East Midlands - most of which are set to close between 2020 and 2021. But it has not been decided whether it will remain at its current campus on Castle Meadow or at a brand new location, yet to be disclosed.
