Nottingham comic Sarah Keyworth has come second place in a national competition for funny females.The 22-year-old, who said her stand-up is a blend of personal stories and "dark , deadpan commentary", came runner-up in the Funny Women 2015 final.Of the ten finalists, only Desiree Burch came ahead of Sarah, who was born and raised in Burton Joyce.The competition was launched in 2003 and was set up to help women comics find their voice through performing or writing comedy.Previous...
